S+ Vehicle Motion Control
S+ Vehicle Motion Control is a safety function for low-friction conditions or any other occurring instabilities from limit handling and collision avoidance. S+ Vehicle Motion Control offers limit handling on a level at least in parity with an expert driver and can be implemented in manually driven as well as self-driving vehicles.
S+ Vehicle Motion Control has an integrated brake and steering control, that stabilises the vehicle and holds on to the driver's intended path. The function is able to control a vehicle through a critical path with an initial speed more than 40 % higher than a vehicle with conventional control.
S+ Vehicle Motion Control is ready for conventional electric-power steering, angle-overlay systems, steer-by-wire and fully autonomous vehicles (NHTSA level 3-5).
